Paintings for an office in Noida, 360 Marketing Inc.

360 Marketing Inc. in Noida specializes in marketing Chinese and European power equipment manufacturers for the power generation industry in India

This project involved creating 6 paintings for each room including the reception, for the commercial office of 360 Marketing Inc. during 2018, and the chosen theme for the works was meant to be monuments and iconic places of Delhi, seen through my eyes, as the office wanted it. It was a pleasure working on this project and outdoing my own work in terms of detail, patience, colour and scale.

Another verse on Compassion and Austerity

Kindness
and calm
is a pleasure
that hides
the weight of all
at heart
but when calm
encourages wrong and it's counter parts,
austerity is smart
even at the cost of calm
and leaving nothing at heart.

This market

I am not
part of your market
a game
a search
a projection
an advertisement
I don't want to
sell myself to you
or entertain you
so please play with
those who play,
and are part of the game.
I was never in it,
so I am never the person to be told out of it
I never asked of you
so I'm not afraid of losing you -
the game is yours, not mine,
you played,
you wanted to be in
and you alone wish to leave,
and can play on -
I judge nothing too soon,
and even if you stay,
you may not be capable of winning my respect or trust.

Honesty

Some like to be honest,
some not,

how much honesty helps with clarity

and how much in making you vulnerable,

is another question..

We can only estimate the honesty of how much others share or express

and of that unshared and unsaid.

and yet the motives or whether they mean what they say and show what they mean

is never known,

and perhaps if it isn't, 

it isn't meant for you.

Is it a gift to never really know exactly the extent of what the other feels

or what they truly feel or mean,

to only wonder and wonder 

if you alone wonder
or even care,

and be not half as deceptive
and lose out on life
and each other,

or would it help

to know to the tee,

and does anyone even care,

for that kind of meaning

and joy
or to be known,
or know?

Know

No one wishes

to know

to bother

to want to be

with
to even ask

like I do

when they can

just be happier

by the lack of everything

simply,

since knowing is effort,

and no one wants to know

as quick as they are to judge

and conclude

what they don't even

care to know.

Adaa aur Sarhadein

Rakhein har ada ko parde main
har adaa ki hain sazaayein
ayenge dobaara uthaane uski har adaa ka luft bewafa
par poojenge adaa nahi sazaa,
bei-adaa ki har razaa,
toh bhool gayi adaayein aur hawayein woh,
aur seekheen sarhadein,
har amal ki.

compassion and action

When you are
more than them,
do you feel compassion
for those who misuse your bigness
because they are small
and keep hurting,
or seek justice over
all
so as not to be an agent
of wrong?

Respect

I respect your body
I respect your dignity
the more I love
the more I respect
I respect distance
slowness
longing
and wait
I respect foundation
and trust
I respect valuing only what you earn
why then do you want to
grope me
and kiss me without knowing me
and rob me of dignity
and grace
and rob a bond that could be,
of respect
robbing is not desire,
it is abuse
and
Waiting is not rejection,
it is respect.

Idols

Idols make
Idols can't be escaped,
Idols shape and idols break
but
you never know what skeletons
lie in the closet of that
ever elusive idol -
be the idol.

Celebrate

You can adapt to
the lesser
by losing your intricacy,
or celebrate it,'
and make those lesser more too,
You can desensitize yourself,
or sensitize the world,
You can adapt
be loved by all who don't know you
or reveal and be loved
by only those who understand.
Celebrate you,
be happy and with few
than unhappy
and everyone's.

Boys

The brazen and charming
misuse tack
to play
and lose themselves to entitlement
until malice is caught
the managers help
and lose souls to rewards of being agents of malice
the kind and soft
devote
to get cheated
by hearts of malice
but will get their love
from those who can,
and run the longer run.
Don't lose soul
or kindness,
or whatever is you
to those who misuse it
for they
will know what they lose.
Love only
who deserve your love,
or it is better lost
and can only be lost,
love not faces
but what it holds and speaks for.

Quantity

Love and kindness
veiled in silence
intangible
is unacknowledged
even if truth is retained
in silence,
but abuse
tangible,
quantifiable
even if truth is restrained by words
and lost in translation,
is my measure of acknowledgment.

Unsafe

You are safe
only alone,
every man is an enemy,
your own blood is an enemy,
and you can barely tame one
to respect the soul.

Smother

Smother with love
until you learn to fight
and
need not lose yourself
to such love
anymore,
if winning is the idea,
and
if smothering is what matters.

Body

I do not see you as a body
I do not see me as a body
I am my mother's child
alone
a baby nurtured to dream
Don't mar the soul
value purity,
value wait
and longing
and that
dignity is love
and that it is no love if you mar the body,
Clear away the fog
of hollow times
and touch your roots.

Undefinable

I am
as bad as nice
as ugly as pretty
as cruel as innocent
as unforgiving as loving
as detailed as abstract
as visceral as technical
as questioning as knowing
as curious as giving
as much a believer as a skeptic
as much a destroyer as a healer
as nothing as everything
as the subject and situation demands
I practice complete justice,
I give what I get
and what is deserved.
And
I evade every definition -
as I am more than that
as you are more than that.

Cause and effect

Draw the lesser

to you and

be torn

for we abuse

what threatens

cleverer than the better,

and the better, silly

the low is too big to be equal

when the high is too small to be big,

Only equals love,

and

for all the lovable in you

draw only he you want, yourself,

to you;

measure.

Anchors

If everything is subjective,
chance and
contextual
depending on the many external factors that make it,
whether how you see something
or what you feel for something,
and everything changes by the moment,
how to do you judge anything
and how do you judge yourself?

Chance

Every second
every word
every choice
is an accident
we choose
among the infinity
that could be,
instead,
to define us.
We are,
by chance.

Light

When the eyes
take to the dark,
it takes seasons
to adjust to light

Numb

That which means everything
means nothing
enough to leave us numb
for words diminished it
until we learned that silence
is indefensible
and words alone are mirrors to the soul,
and that we'd rather diminish
than lose the soul.


Act.

Love and Hate

Why is there love
when we must fight for our own,
we must be first
and we must crush
and we must hate
and win
why then must we love
when we can hate
when our own
hate
and must win
We can't be loved
and why should we
when we are not even their own
when we can love anyone
as all others are,
and when we can win
by hating
and crushing
and will merely remain equal in love.
Do we need another?

Stars

The mind believed
in it's own reigns to
draw destiny
until it was told
it was moving with the stars
and we became mindless
and bettering stars
and lighting fires
to draw our destiny.

Expectations

You want her to please your eyes

even if she aches for it

and dies,
so you can rob her some more,

I am not here to please your eyes,

I'm comfortable,

and not into those highs
and happier having nothing
to be robbed of.

Tender

Words cant rise beyond the throat

Wordless,

I cant tell you you pain me

because I'm tender

and wordless

and scared

because you are all harsh

and I'm supposed to be harsh, too.

Threat

Rife with not trust

but suspicion

spins the world

niceness

is doubted

as benefit

and harshness threatens

no one helps anyone in trouble
too quick to feel used,

they flock to you in your joy,

innocence is doubted as fake

a means to sympathy,

and clever is a threat

Since

Friendship threatens

love threatens

niceness threatens

they want to doubt

so let me threaten you instead -

will you trust me more, then?

special

Don't use precious words
so coolly
don't love so soon
love only those
deserving of love
and deserving of you,
and any other kind of love lost
is better lost
since anyone not deserving of you
can only hurt
and no one as special deserves
hurt.

Down

What has hurt you

comes back again

to hurt again

so you could remain intoxicated by pain

and know that

everything lets you down,

again

and feel as helpless again.

 

For them

Joy

love

a petal

a hug

a truth

a longing

a commitment

to be loved

and to love

without fear

and doubt

and the uncertainty of loss

and being used

or hurt and

success and

ease

is for those who can't value it

and did nothing to earn it,

while those who may,

will only hope,

for,

while they all love

they respect that which they don't.
