The Clever Fool

Cool survived, moral was cornered

cool hangs with plenty and moral sat alone
cool is calm, the moral seething
cool continued the party, moral has no one
cool is a liar and the moral is true
cool survives
the moral fades
but knows he wins for himself
and lives for the few that deserve him
with a pride the cool can't command
but what I love is the

strong who is cool -

in his compassion
for the week

the strong that takes charge of the self yes
but slips into the world
and it's ways,
at every step.
